Description
Reloaders seeking high-performance projectiles for 6.5mm cartridges will appreciate the precision and reliability of the Hornady 6.5mm .264 129 Gr SST Bullets. These 100-count boxes deliver consistent accuracy and controlled expansion, making them a top choice for both range work and field applications.
Key Features of Hornady SST Projectiles
- Super Shock Tip (SST) Design: The polymer tip initiates rapid expansion upon impact while improving ballistic coefficient for flatter trajectories.
- Secant Ogive Profile: Enhances aerodynamic efficiency and feeding reliability in a variety of rifle platforms.
- InterLock Ring: Mechanically locks the lead core to the jacket, promoting deep penetration and weight retention.
- Thin Jacket Construction: Allows for quick, reliable expansion without sacrificing structural integrity.
Performance Benefits for Reloaders
These ballistic tip bullets address common reloading challenges by offering excellent accuracy out of the box, often achieving sub-MOA groups in properly tuned loads. The design balances velocity retention with energy transfer, helping hunters achieve ethical, quick harvests on medium game. Reloaders benefit from consistent seating and crimping due to the uniform construction across the 100-piece count.
