Packing a full-size punch into an easier to conceal midsize form, this FN 509 Midsize pistol is chambered in 9mm, comes with the miniature red dot (MRD) sight plate system and is perfect for commercial, law enforcement and military users alike. This pistol comes with two 10 round magazines – ideal for states and locations with capacity restrictions – and features a fixed 3 dot luminescent sight system, a cold hammer-forged stainless steel barrel, polished chamber and feed ramp, a flat dark earth coated slide with improved front and rear cocking serrations, MIL-STD-1913 accessory mounting rail, and more. Included with the FN 509 Midsize NMS pistol are two interchangeable backstraps, two 10-round magazines, a complete MRD optic mount kit, owner’s manual, locking device, and an FN logo soft pistol case.

This evolution of the FN 509 Midsize, now featuring the FN Low Profile Optics Mounting System, gives you the option of direct mounting more than 10 different miniature red dot optics to your concealed carry pistol. The FN 509 Midsize MRD features a four-inch barrel and slide with optics mounting package, a midsized frame, standard 15-round capacity and is compatible with larger capacity FN 509 magazines with use of a sleeve. The improved controls aid in manipulation, the new improved texturing on the two included backstraps provides better recoil management, and a new flatter faced trigger allows for more controllable trigger press and cleaner break.
