Description: McMillan A-3 Short Action Tactical Black Stock, 1-Piece Floor Plate (FN/Winchester). This A-3 stock is molded to fit the Winchester Model 70, FNH SPR and PBR Rifles which utilize 1-piece floor plate assemblies. The A-3 is a modified lightweight version of McMillan’s popular A-2 stock. It is the most widely used field sniper stock available. The forend is .312 inch shallower than the A-2 from top to bottom to provide a more stable platform while shooting off sand bags or a pedestal. The stock is also filled slightly lighter than the A-2 but retains all the features that make the A-2 such an excellent tactical stock. This stock is molded for tactical applications and has a large barrel channel designed to be used with heavy barrels. This stock will fit short action FN bolt rifles and Winchester Model 70 rifles.

This stock requires the use of a 1 piece trigger guard and floor plate assembly. While this stock will still work on models that were sold without a 1 piece floor plate assembly, you will still need to install one for this stock to fit your Model 70 properly. |
