At the heart of the Benelli M2-G1 is the innovative Rear Piston Operated (R.P.O.) gas system, engineered to deliver cleaner operation, enhanced reliability, and long-lasting performance. Unlike traditional gas-operated shotguns that position the operating system at the front of the magazine tube, the R.P.O. system is located closer to the receiver. By collecting gas nearer the chamber, where pressure is stronger and combustion gases are cleaner, the M2-G1 cycles more efficiently while reducing fouling and maintenance. The result is a gas-operated tactical shotgun designed for smoother operation, greater durability, and consistent performance when it matters most.
