Description: EGW 1911 Hard Sear, Long. This durable hard steel sear from EGW is machined from strong tool steel and heat-treated to 52-53 RC. The long sear is designed for the 1911 pistol platform a few thousandths of an inch longer than the standard EGW hard sear. The extra length allows the sear to be stoned to the desired length using a radial jig. The sear features minimal geometric improvements to the original GI sear spec at the hammer contact surface to ensure precision and strength.
