Constructed from lightweight aluminum, this bolt shroud from Gre-Tan Rifles is designed to fit Remington Model 700 rifles chambered in either short or long action calibers. Not only does this aftermarket bolt plug have the best fit in the industry to prevent sloppy operation of the rifle, but it also comes anodized in either a matte black, matte silver or a glossy satin black finish. The shroud is located at the rear end of the firing pin assembly to secure the spring/pin within the assembly.
