Hornady 338 Cal .338 225 Gr Sp-Rp Interlock Bullets 100Ct

Description

Engineered for serious big-game hunters, the Hornady 338 Cal .338 225 Gr SP-RP InterLock Bullets deliver reliable expansion and deep penetration on tough targets. These 225-grain semi-jacketed soft point projectiles combine classic design with Hornady’s proven InterLock technology to help ensure controlled expansion and maximum weight retention for ethical, effective terminal performance.

Key Features

• InterLock Ring – A raised ring inside the jacket mechanically locks the core and jacket together during expansion to retain mass and energy for deep penetration and large, consistent wound channels.
• Inner Grooves – Strategically weaken the upper jacket section for consistent, controlled expansion even at extended ranges.
• Tapered Jacket – Precisely controlled jacket thickness promotes reliable expansion across a wide velocity range.
• One-Piece Core – Eliminates separation common with divided cores, supporting hard-hitting performance on game.
• Cannelure – Provides secure crimping and works with the InterLock ring to maintain bullet integrity.

Performance Benefits

Reloaders choose these bullets for their balance of accuracy and terminal effectiveness in .338 caliber cartridges. The exposed lead tip initiates rapid yet controlled expansion, while the secant ogive profile enhances ballistic efficiency. Whether pursuing large North American game or preparing loads for demanding hunts, these projectiles help deliver the stopping power needed for clean harvests.
