Description: Steiner eOptics DBAL Neutral Density Filter. Manufactured for the DBAL family of laser pointers and illuminators from Steiner, this replacement cover is made to fit over the infrared / daylight laser stack on the unit. The cover, marked “N” for neutral density, is opaque at the daylight laser port and features a dark filter for the IR laser port. Use the cover to eliminate the daytime laser and lessen the intensity of the IR laser. A less intense laser may be desirable depending on the lighting situation or when close-quarter optic damage is best avoided.
